- Preparation Put 80 g of the bulgur mixture in a pot. Add 200 ml of boiling water, bring to the boil, put the lid on. Simmer over a low heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Add oil or ghee as desired. Season with salt.
