Rasayana – The Science of Rejuvenation
In Ayurveda, Rasayana is one of the eight main branches of healing, focusing on longevity and vitality. Rasayanas nourish all seven Dhatus (body tissues), promote the formation of Ojas (life essence), and reduce Ama (metabolic waste). At AYURDEVA, you'll find classic Rasayanas that have been valued for their regenerative properties for millennia.
Classical Rasayanas and their meaning
Chyawanprash – The Royal Rasayana
This legendary herbal jam with over 40 ingredients, mainly amalaki, is considered one of the most important rasayanas. According to tradition, it was created for the sage Chyawan to restore his youth. Chyawanprash is traditionally used to nourish all dhatus and to strengthen ojas.
Triphala – The Three Myrobalans
The combination of Haritaki, Bibhitaki, and Amalaki is the most frequently used Rasayana in Ayurveda. Triphala is traditionally used to harmonize all three doshas. Our Triphala preparations are sourced from wild harvesting or organic cultivation.
Brahmi – Food for the Spirit
Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) is the most important Medhya Rasayana – a traditional tonic for mind and nervous system according to Ayurvedic teachings. It is classically used to support memory (Smriti) and concentration.
Ashwagandha – Strength of a Horse
According to Ayurvedic tradition, Withania somnifera bestows "the strength and vitality of a stallion." It is particularly valued in Ayurveda as a traditional tonic (balya) and rasayana. Ashwagandha is considered an important adaptogen in Ayurvedic tradition.

Integration into modern everyday life
Ayurvedic supplements are not quick fixes, but rather part of a holistic lifestyle. They unfold their full effect in combination with a suitable diet (Ahara), proper conduct (Vihara), and regular practice (Abhyasa). At AYURDEVA, we are happy to advise you on the optimal integration into your daily life.
Note on traditional use
The effects described are based on millennia-old Ayurvedic tradition and experience. Concepts such as doshas, dhatus, and ojas are integral parts of the Ayurvedic understanding but have no direct equivalent in Western medicine. Our supplements are not a substitute for medical treatment.
