Copper carafe with cup hammered, 1.1 l

In traditional Indian medicine, Ayurveda, copper is attributed with a balancing effect: water stored in copper vessels eventually takes on the qualities of the metal and, according to Ayurvedic texts, balances the doshas. In India, copper vessels are called "Tamra Jal".

Copper water is typically alkaline and thus balances the body's pH level. Ancient yogis and sages are said to have drunk copper water to protect themselves from illness. Copper also has antibacterial, antioxidant, and rejuvenating properties, and it cleanses the body of toxins and free radicals; furthermore, copper is believed to stimulate the brain.

This elegant copper water carafe has a capacity of 1.1 L. The copper carafe lid can be used as a drinking cup. The hammered finish makes it a real eye-catcher! This is a sustainable carafe built to last – it's made of pure copper, ensuring naturally alkaline water and good health!

Application:
Fill the carafe with water in the evening, let it stand overnight, and drink the water the next morning. From a scientific perspective, the water will have absorbed pure copper during storage, a mineral that is essential for the body in this form.

Cleaning:
Since the carafe is made of copper, it will naturally lose its shine over time. To clean it, you'll need a pinch of salt, vinegar or baking soda, and a slice of lemon. Sprinkle the ingredients onto the lemon slice and gently rub the mixture onto the surface of your carafe. The lemon and salt will create a mixture that naturally removes the patina and restores the copper's shine. Rinse the carafe with water and let it dry thoroughly. The inside of the copper carafe will also develop a patina, but this does not affect the quality of the water stored in it. However, the carafe is not dishwasher safe!
